Genre: Crime Drama
WARNING – IF YOU HAVE ANY RESPONSIBILITIES, DO NOT WATCH THIS SERIES.
Okay we lied – this last show isn’t on Netflix: it’s on Stan. But you’ll be thanking us later once
you’re hooked. And as for the warning, we thought that’s only right given that you’ll forget
anything else exists once you start watching.
Power tells the story of James St. Patrick, a ruthless, intelligent drug dealer under the street who wishes to leave the criminal world to pursue legitimate business interests
as a nightclub owner. St. Patrick aims to balance these two lives, while avoiding police capture,
manage his crumbling marriage and shifting alliances.
Plot twist after plot twist, this show is actually annoying in the sense that you won’t want to
move until its finished; making it the perfect series to start during the lockdown.
The Society
Created by Christopher Keyser
Genre - American mystery teen drama
The Society follows the story of a group of teenagers who must learn to run their own community after the rest of the population of their town disappears. The mystery begins when the students at the local high school return early from a canceled field trip and find that everyone else is gone.
A dense forest appears surrounding the town; the outside world apparently no longer exists and
cannot be contacted by telephone or the Internet. The teenagers are forced to come up with their own rules to survive with limited resources.
Those of us who have watched it are probably all wondering and waiting (impatiently I might add) for Season 2 of The Society to be released, but writers have told us we should expect it “late 2020”
